Dancing Crane Ranch

We recently purchased the oldest historical native owned ranch on the Fond Du Lac Reservation in Sawyer, MN. This ranch belonged to our Great Uncle and we were able to purchase a portion of it to start our first Bison herd.

We received our first Bison in Nov., 2022 through a partnership with the Tanka Fund out of South Dakota and The Nature Conservancy. The Bison we received were from a National Park and have excellent genetics. We intend to work with our partners at Dakota Pure Bison in South Dakota to supply top quality Bison products to our customers, continually improve our genetics and grow our herd here in Sawyer.
